Rare Embossed Hyannis Well Spring Water Bottle

A handsome early twentieth-century embossed spring water bottle in brilliant light aqua glass, boldly embossed “REGISTERED / HYANNIS WELL SPRING / J. L. PANESIS & CO. / HYANNIS, MASS.” and retaining its original capacity marking of “1 Pint and 12 Fluid Ounces.” Standing an impressive 11 inches in height, this elegant crown-top bottle exhibits a classic tapered form with exceptionally crisp embossing and outstanding visual appeal. Bottled by one of Cape Cod’s early regional spring water companies, it represents a wonderful survivor from the era when locally bottled mineral and spring waters were delivered throughout New England. An increasingly desirable piece of Cape Cod history, equally appealing to collectors of antique bottles, Massachusetts advertising, and regional Americana. Excellent original condition with attractive natural light aqua color and clean surfaces.
