$185.00 USD

Turned from a single block of chestnut or oak with handsome barrel-form profile, incised ring decoration, hinged lid, and distinctive circular hanging finial. Retains an outstanding untouched honey-brown surface with excellent patina and evidence of long kitchen use. The sculptural form and bold grain elevate the piece beyond the ordinary examples encountered in country Americana collections.
